One can accuse Jayalalitha of populism but in her current stint has moved away from doling out TV's and Grinders to more important aspects related to roti, kapada, makan. Her dead cheap Amma restaurants serving hot idli sambar and curd rice, fantastic PDS system and now bottled water at 10 bucks. This is great considering corporates fleecing consumers to buy the same bottle at 20 bucks.
Well done Amma ji, we need more such thinking chief ministers in the country taking care of their subjects.
